4. How are the referrals tracked from an affiliate’s website and how long will those remain in the system. It is important to know how long these referrals of yours will stay in the system as many people do not buy things right away. 5. Find out who the retailer of the affiliate program is. You need to know something about the people you are going to be doing business with and to discover whether or not it is a solid company. This point is extremely important because you do not want your name and reputation to be associated with a disreputable affiliate company.

The more you are able to learn about the retailer the easier is will be for you to decide if the affiliate program is the right one for your own Internet Based Home Business.

6. Another point to consider is whether the affiliate program is a one or two tier program. A one tier program will only pay you for work that you personally have done, where as a two tier program pays you a commission for what you have done personally plus any work that is done by anyone that you may have sponsored into the program.

This type of affiliate program is generally better as you benefit from sponsoring people and earn a residual income with very little extra work. The beauty of residual income is that it will still bring in money for you even if you are unable to work.

Last but not least is what sort of commission the company actually pays. This differs from company to company and you need to know before you get involved how much you can earn per sale. If the percentage per sale that they pay is low it might not be worth your while and possibly would be more beneficial to find another affiliate program. Remember that the success of your Online Income Business depends how much money you make.
